Study Design
Develop or advise on the design of Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) and Quasi-Experimental Designs (QEDs) that meet high standards (e.g., What Works Clearinghouse).
Proposals
Advise on proposals that involve impact studies. Draft proposal sections. Serve as external proposal reviewer.
Analysis
Develop or advise on the development of analysis plans, review existing analysis plans, and oversee analysts conducting impact analyses.
Reports
Serve as external reviewer of reports from impact studies and other quantitative studies.
Standards
Develop or refine standards for assessing the quality of impact studies. Apply standards in reviewing ongoing or completed studies.
Capacity Building
Offer workshops and other training on how to conduct impact evaluations with high internal validity and external validity/generalizability.
